Yohan Blake Runs 9.69 in Lausanne Meet- Makes 100m Sprint History

Yohan Blake won the 100m August 23rd at the Athletissima IAAF Diamond League meet in Lausanne, Switzerland with a time of 9.69 seconds. This was the meet record and also his personal best (which was previously 9.75).

Yohan Blake is now the joint second-fastest man in history as he ties Tyson Gay’s record of 9.69. ¬†The only times recorded faster were¬†Usain Bolt’s 9.58 and 9.63.
