Yohan Blake To Participate in the 2012 National Senior Championships

Monday, June 18th, 2012

Yohan Blake will be participating in the 2012 JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships.  They will be held Thursday, June 28 – Sunday, July 1 at the National Stadium in Kingston.

With many top athletes and so few spaces for the Olympic team, this will be THE event to watch.

According to an article in the The Sun.co.uk :

Blake, 22, speaking from his training base in Jamaica, said: “All the guys are running really fast and most could get in an 100-meter final at the Olympics.

“It’s going to be a really difficult one because nobody’s spot is guaranteed, and you have to be ready on the day. I think it’s going to be tougher than the Olympics!”
